I am one of the 3 flat owners of 6, Cecile Park. We share the freehold and are in the process of renewing our building insurance. This year the insurers have a problem with the cherry blossom tree in the pavement outside our house:- 'The insurers of our property situate: 6 Cecile Park, London, N8 9AS, have requested we put you on notice regarding the trees on your property, that we understand are your responsibility. They have requested that we make sure you are aware that should subsidence, or any other damage, be caused to our property due to your failure to maintain these trees adequately, our insurers may look to you or your property insurers for a contribution towards any losses or claims paid’.-Flat A, 8 Cecile Park, Hornsey, London, N8 9AS

I drive along markfield everyday to access the park at the bottom of markfield road there is a large section of road that creates a very uneven large broken section of the road that myself and other vehicle have to swerve to avoid so we don’t damage our cars. The tree outside 6 Rhodes Avenue is overgrown and needs pruning. It is causing damage to the pavement - again! (Last time this was addressed by the paving stones being lifted and the pavement being tarmac’d! Why the tree was not pruned then is beyond me!)
