There is something very wrong with the tree outside number 11. The root is enormous, in comparison to the tree itself, and is causing significant damage to the pavement, which is mostly just tarmac now (which you've previously laid to try and cope with the issue). You've even replaced the kerb stones with thin ones to try and accommodate the tree.<br/><br/>This tree never seems to grow properly (it must be well over 30 years old, but is still small). It looks like part of the tree is dead at this point.<br/><br/>The pavement is getting increasingly dangerous for pedestrians, prams and wheelchairs.<br/><br/>Recently, you planted some new trees in the street. I think it's time to remove this tree and the dangerous roots and replace it with a new one.
