Dear Haringey Council,

Regarding - urgent report of a tree damage to wall and safety hazard for pedestrians

I am writing to report an urgent safety and property damage issue at 64 nightingale lane, n8 7qx.

A large tree has grown directly next to a brick wall bordering the pavement. The tree roots and trunk are pushing against the structure, causing a severe vertical crack through the wall and adjoining property corner (please see attached photos). The damage is worsening and there is a real risk that bricks or parts of the wall could fall into the public footpath, posing a danger to pedestrians and road users.

The structural damage is significant and requires urgent inspection. I believe this falls under both dangerous structures and problem trees as defined in your public safety responsibilities.

Please confirm receipt of this report and advise when an inspection will take place. I would appreciate this being treated as a priority due to the clear safety risks.

I have more photos but I am unable to upload it.

Thank you! -64 Nightingale Lane, London N8 7QX, UK

There is raw sewage leaking onto the pavement of the west side of Wolves Lane apparently from the corner house on the south side of Woodside Road. This has created a trickle of smelly and probably unhealthy/dangerous mess for pedestrians using that pavement for about two weeks now. It's about 2 feet side sometimes so difficult to jump over, you get poisonous stuff on your shoes or any wheeled pram or trolley you are using. I don't live nearby so don't know the occupants of the corner house and can only guess its house number from the map, but it's the house on the corner which seems to have this leakage under its fence onto the pavement of the adjoining street, namely Wolves Lane.-115 Woodside Road, Wood Green, London, N22 5HR

There is a strong smell of sewage coming from a drain cover in the road outside the building containing doors 196 and 198 Sirdar Road. It is definitely in the road, not on the private property - the sewage drain manhole is some metres away further NE in the front garden. No surface emission or flooding present - but then it hasn't rained for ages!-196 Sirdar Road, Wood Green, London, N22 6QX

a seemingly purpose-less skip has been sitting here for weeks and is responsible for the deluge of garbage all around the park - the skip is not covered as the council skip rules mandate (see screengrab from your own page) and people use it as a trash depository which then gets pulled out and scattered all over the park. if this is the council skip for upcoming works in the park, cover it while it’s not being used. -Public Conveniences, Downhills Park, Downhills Park Road, Tottenham, London, N17 6BP

There is an ugly array of plastic barriers outside no 53 North Hill N6 4BS which has been there for at least since January but I'm told it was first put there last autumn for repairing the retaining wall between road an pavement. It is now damaged and used to dumpy rubbish and litter. It looks terrible and it reduces available parking spots.
