The main road on the raised area North of the zebra crossing has started to show signs of dangerous subsidence over a circular area of about 1 metre diameter. This is in line with Broadlands Road and just downhill of the marked zebra crossing on the North West side of the road. The ground has gradually sunk in one particular area over the past few months, and there may soon be some significant risk to road users, as well as possible vibration damage to adjacent houses, some of which are Grade II listed.
